Instructor AJ is a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major with over 46 years of tactical operations and instruction experience.
For 17 of those years, he served as a Tier-1 special operator in a national-level Special Mission Unit (SMU).

In addition to his time as a Tier-1 operator, AJ served in conventional infantry and airborne units and in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets). He is also a graduate of Ranger School and numerous other U.S. military and international schools.
Following his military service, Instructor AJ went on to work in other government agencies and has trained hundreds of international special operations, security and intelligence units around the world.
